1939: Tile Cutting Machine

Heretofore it has been the common practice to definitely set the cutting blade and secure it in position to produce a kerf in the stone at a given depth, and after said kerf is cut, then readjusting the cutter to a further depth and repeating the operation. It is the purpose of this invention to overcome this extremely slow operation due to the foot or hand control of the cutter at all times during the cutting operation. By means of W the present machine, it is possible to cut a surface which is at an angle to the direction of travel of the tile being cut.

1944: US2338318 A Mounting and Guard for Rotary Cutters

The principal object of this invention is the provision of a cutting machine wherein the rotary cutting blade is provided with a streamlined guard which insures greater safety and efficiency. Another object is the provision of a mounting and guard for oscillatable rotary cutters wherein the guard is provided with an adjustable front extension. Other objects are simplicity and sturdiness of construction, efficiency of operation and adjustability of the guard to proper function when the cutting blade is positioned at various heights relative to the operator.

1948: 2455113 Masonry Saw

This invention relates to improvements in masonry saws and refers more particularly to a power saw employing a disk cutter mounted upon an adjustable head held rigid during the cutting operation.

1949: 2464117 Conveyer Cart for Masonry Saws

This invention relates to the art of cutting material such as masonry or the like and has for its primary aim the provision of improvements to the conveyor or cart forming a part of equipment which has heretofore been perfected and that is shown for example in my previously issued U. S. One of the important objects of the invention is the provision of a conveyor cart for masonry saws having structure for releasably clamping the material in place for engagement by the cutting disk of the saw, which structure is capable of maintaining the material being cut at an angle to the plane of the cutting disk.

1956: Track mounted cutter for concrete slabs and the like

This invention relates to masonry equipment and particularly to cutting structure for use with relatively heavy, bulky slabs not easily moved about, the primary object being therefore, to provide cutting apparatus adapted to be easily positioned in cutting relationship to the rock-like cementitious slab, thereby avoiding the necessity of handling or otherwise manipulating the latter.
